
Kristen Anne Bell, born on July 18, 1980, [1in the US is an American actress. In the beginning of her acting career, she was performing in stage productions when she was studying at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, she made her Broadway stage debut as Becky Thatcher in the comedy musical The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and appeared in a Broadway revival of The Crucible the following year. Later, she appeared in the action thriller film Spartan (2004) and earned praise for her performance in the drama TV film Gracie's Choice (2004).Her first major role was the title character in the teen noir drama television series Veronica Mars (2004-2007), getting praise from the critics and winning the Saturn Award for Best Actress on Television for her performance. The 2014 movie she reprised her character as the title character and in the new season, she played the title character. Bell was in the musical Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical (2005) as Mary Lane. This was an opportunity to reprise her role from her New York musical. Bell was also on the stage in Heroes the super-hero drama as Elle Bishop, from 2007 from 2007 to the year 2008. Bell played the role of the titular narrator for the teen drama series Gossip Girl. The 2021 sequel will see her reprise this role. Bell was also the Showtime comedy House of Lies' lead actress, Jeannie van de Hooven. Bell was the lead character Eleanor Shellstrop, the leading character on the critically acclaimed NBC comedy show The Good Place. She was nominated for an Golden Globe Award. Bell was also the character of Eleanor Shellstrop in the streaming show The Woman in the Home across the street from the Girl in the Window.
